Full Day Excursion to Bucharest

Early morning departure, have a scenic drive in Dobrudzha region, cross the Danube river and arrive in Bucharest at noon. We invite you on a panoramic bus tour of Bucharest city center where you will see Uniri Square, University Square, Victoria Square, Revolution Square. Short photo stop in front of House of Parliament - reportedly the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. You will then have time at leisure in Bucharest downtown. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to Village Museum - picturesquely located amidst a beautiful park, the museum recreates over 300 traditional buildings representing the Romanian provincial architecture from each country's region. Wooden churches, houses, barns, artisans dressed in traditional costumes from the 16-17th centuries add to the atmosphere. The tour continues with a visit to Mogosoaia Palace, built n the 17th century. Picturesquely located next to a lake the castle strikes with its beautiful park and architecture - a mixture of Oriental and Venetian details in the style of the Romanian Renaissance. The palace has been the favorite holiday place for the Vlach officials, nowadays a preferred destination for the Romanian artistic world.
