Koprivshtitsa is a quiet mountain town nestled in the foothills of Sredna Gora. It was once a cradle of the revolutionary movement against the Ottomans, the birthplace of many renowned Bulgarian revolutionaries and writers. Today the town attracts the tourists with its specific spirit of tranquillity and eternity. You can explore the town on your own by visiting some of many museum - houses, admire the vast collection of ethnographic treasures, including ancient weapons, national costumes and stunning jewellery. 

Plovdiv is the second largest city in Bulgaria and a European capital of culture for 2019.  Philipopolis,  Trimonzium, Puldin, Plovdiv - a city with many names and millennium old history contemporary to Troy and Mycenae. It has preserved ruins from Roman, Byzanatine, Ottoman and Bulgarian Revival period. There is so much to discover in the enchanting Plovdiv old town with its winding paved streets, beautiful Revival houses, art galleries, old churches, ornamented mosques, museums, modern cafes and chic bars. Join our comprehensive tour and you will learn a lot of intriguing stories, funny urban legends and curious historical facts.  

Pick up point: 
St. Alexander Nevski Square (south-east corner; at the parking lot in front of La Cattedrale restaurant. You will receive a map with instructions after completing the booking. Hotel pick-up can be ordered, but is surcharged 5 - 10 euro per booking depending on your hotel location. The tour ends in the afternoon with drop off at Al. Nevski Cathedral.

07:45 Meeting at the parking at south-east corner of Al. Nevski Cathedral's square and in front of “La Cattedrale” restaurant. (you will receive detailed map after you complete the booking process)

10:00 Estimated time of arrival in Plovdiv and start your guided tour

13:00 Depart to Koprivshtica 
15:00 Estimated time of arrival in Koprivshtica and explore on your own
16:30 Head back to Sofia

Note on prices:
Children between 5 - 12 years old are subject to a discount of 10 Euro. Please be advised that the tour is not suitable for children under 5 years old.

GROUP SIZE: The groups vary between 8 (small groups), 16 (medium groups) and more than 20 people (big groups). Kindly note that the group size is not upon request.
