After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour in Bucharest, once called the “Little Paris of the East”. During the tour you will visit the Parliament Palace, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. See also the Arch of Triumph, the Revolution Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, the National Art Museum and other important city landmarks. Drive through the beautiful Olt Valley to Sibiu, the European Capital of Culture in 2007. Overnight in Sibiu.

After breakfast, have a city tour of this pedestrian friendly city – Sibiu- with the baroque style Roman Catholic Cathedral, the Evangelical Church, the Brukenthal Museum the Liar’s bridge and the Old Squares. Continue to the village of Biertan, with the local fortified church, which was built in the place of on old basilica at the end of the XV‘th century with architectural elements from the late-Gothic and Renaissance style. Today it is one of the Romania's most important historical and architectural monuments, being included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage. Its' oak door, with inlaid work, dates from 1515 and has a huge lock with a complicated mechanism on its backside. Continue to Sighisoara, the best preserved medieval citadel in this part of Europe, for overnight

After breakfast enjoy a walking tour through the medieval complex of Sighisoara, which remarked itself as a big handicraft and cultural centre and as a residential town. It is certified in documents from 1280 under the name of 'Castrum Sex'. The complex, situated on a hill, dominates the whole city, maintaining its initial shape of a nucleus of massive buildings that guard the narrow colourful streets. Visit the famous Clock-tower, with its Weapons Museum and Torture Chamber and the house where Vlad the Impaler supposedly was born in 1431. Continue to Rupea fortress, a major point of attraction in the area and of the most beautiful fortresses in Transylvania. Continue to Brasov, fairytale town founded in the 12th century by the Saxon settlers. Enjoy a city tour including visit to the famous Black Church, the largest Gothic style church in South-Easter Europe. Overnight in Brasov.

In the morning, visit Bran Castle, made famous by Bram Stoker's novel as the residence of the vampire count, Dracula. Drive on to Sinaia, one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Romania, also known as the “Pearl of the Carpathians”, for visit to Peles Castle, an exquisite piece of architecture that served as the summer residence of the former Romanian Royal family. Continue to Bucharest airport for your flight back home or Bucharest for another night of accommodation.
