Romania is surprisingly diverse mixture of modern cities, mystical legends, unspoiled nature and well-kept traditions. Join this tour to see the vivid capital of Bucharest, the unique painted monasteries to the North – an amazing piece of art enlisted on UNESCO World Heritage, the summer residence of the former royal family – Peles Castle in Sinaia, the Bran castle - made famous by Bram Stoker's novel as the residence of the vampire count, Dracula and more.
Day 1 - BUCHAREST CITY TOUR – SUCEAVA
Meet your English speaking guide upon arrival at Bucharest airport and proceed on a city tour of Bucharest including visit to the famous Parliament Palace, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. In the evening, take an internal flight to Suceava for overnight.
Day 2 - SUCEAVA – SUCEVITA – HUMOR – VORONET – SUCEAVA (150 KM)
Today you will visit the famous painted monasteries of Sucevita, Humor and Voronet, part of UNESCO World Heritage List and you will enjoy bio apple juice tasting in a very lovely pension in Gura Humorului, where you will have the chance to spend some peaceful time in the orchard. Return to Suceava for overnight
Day 3 - SUCEAVA – RED LAKE – BRASOV (350 KM)
After breakfast, depart for Brasov via Bicaz Gorges, one of the most spectacular roads in Romania and the famous Red Lake. Upon arrival in Brasov , fairytale town founded in the 12th century by the Saxon settlers, enjoy a city tour with the famous Black Church, the largest Gothic style church in South-Eastern Europe. Overnight in Brasov
Day 4 - BRASOV -BRAN – SINAIA – BUCHAREST ( 220 KM)
In the morning, depart for Bran Castle , made famous by Bram Stoker's novel as the residence of the vampire count, Dracula. Drive on to Sinaia, one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Romania, also known as the “Pearl of the Carpathians”, for visit to Peles Castle, an exquisite piece of architecture that served as the summer residence of the former Romanian Royal family. Continue to Bucharest airport for your flight back home or Bucharest for another night of accommodation.
