7000 visitors attended the 26th edition of the International Festival of Masquerade Games in Pernik

Over 7000 visitors attended the 26th edition of the International Masquerade Festival “Surva” in the town of Pernik. More than 100 masquerade groups from all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria took part as well as participants from Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia and others. The “Surva” Festival is included in the list of the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO and is the biggest of its kind on the Balkans.
